My journey as a stove fitter began in 1990 with an apprenticeship that introduced me to the fascinating world of craftsmanship over three years. I gained valuable experience, including a period in Hallein, as a qualified craftsman. In 1996, my path led me to Vienna for the master craftsman course, which I completed with distinction as one of Austria’s youngest masters. The master class in ceramics at Ortweinschule in Graz then opened up entirely new creative possibilities for me.

By 1998, the time had come: I founded Cerom, my own specialist firm, a heartfelt project that continues to stand for quality, reliability, and true craftsmanship.

From day one, we’ve prioritized authentic handwork: every tile we’ve made since our founding has been crafted individually, with great attention to detail. Today, ceramic artist Elisabeth Wedenig-Zauner MA enriches our team, taking our tile production to new heights with her expertise.

Our stoves tell stories – from cozy rooms in Austria and Bavaria to unique spaces in Hamburg, Berlin, Croatia, Tuscany, Toronto, and even New Mexico. We are at home wherever warmth is needed!
